Bitcoin brokerage Crypto Facilities announced the launch of a bitcoin derivatives trading platform found at cryptofacilities.com. The Bitcoin firm that is based in London is run by a former Goldman Sachs director, Dr. Timo Schlaefer.

Empleo Cryptofacilities desde hace casi 2 años. Se basan en un índice ponderado del precio del Bitcoin en USD (Bitstamp, Bitfinex y Coinbase, principalmente) y tienen futuros con hasta x6 a 1 y 2 semanas y 3, 6 y 9 meses. Y turbos (hasta x50) a 1 y 2 semanas.
Te aseguran las bitcoins (dicen que trabajan con Elliptic y una aseguradora que está en el índice Fortune 100).
Los futuros a más de 3 meses no tienen liquidez ni volumen útiles, pero por lo demás va bien. Como nota accesoria, junto a la cotización de cada valor te da expresamente el “premium” anualizado para que no tengas que hacer cálculos. Viene fenomenal porque es un buen indicador de sobrecompra/sobreventa.
El único inconveniente son las liquidaciones. Tengo guardado un pantallazo de una que hubo hace un par de días justo cuando estaba mirando: se limpió todo el libro de órdenes de compras hasta un 2,5% por debajo del último precio por una liquidación de 100 y pico bitcoins.
