Que yo sepa no lo han hecho público. En su momento hablaron de que estaban negociando con empresas chinas de hardware para desarrollar NAS compatibles con farmeo en la red SAFE, quizás podría estar relacionado, ni idea.

Por cierto, hoy acaba el crowfunding en bnktothefuture, van por el 62% recaudado, unos €1,382,113. A ver si les dan buen uso.

Añadiendo mas funcionalidades, mail, mensajes, video conferencias… Y esperando las bóvedas públicas para el gran salto en el précio. Buen momento para cargar las alforjas.

Alguno estáis siguiendo el proyecto como para hacer un pequeño resumen de donde estamos? Hace ya un par de meses que no he tenido tiempo de leer los deb updates y creo que es tónica general del hilo, porque no hay mucho comentario.

Pues se supone que están trabajando a saco en los vaults, tal y como dice Dirvine en un post de hace un día:
The next/current sprint is still vaults from home, but the core and client guys will get the authenticator in place plus settle the immutable and mutable types, so a ton for them to.
Mientras tanto están mareando la perdiz con las APIS para los desarrolladores. Están sacando aplicaciones y están documentando como se enlazan con la red Safe a través de su API que evidentemente está en continuo movimiento y cambios de paradigma con el consiguiente mareo del personal.
Están utilizando aplicaciones de software libre que hay en Github para implementar sobre ellas los enlaces con la red Safe (la privada de momento). Este es el caso del SAFE Browser, la aplicación de mensajería o comentarios, la de correo electrónico. Y ahora han sacado un SAFE Markdown Editor que parece poca cosa pero dice el própio Dirvine que podría ser la base para que los devs monten CMS ( joomla…etc) sobre esa estructura.
Por cierto el precio a 9500 está para entrar de cabeza si se cree en la viabilidad del proyecto.

SAFE Authenticator and Vaults are being worked on right now, simultaneously. That’ll take until December; I doubt that it will take longer than at most the end of December! January should be the start of Test Safecoin, perhaps? (Others can argue both ways on that issue if they have better information.) Personally I would really like Test Safecoin by the mid-end of January. The time before then should be testing out the new vaults/auth, so maybe Test Safecoin could be more realistically out by February. (Unless there are more steps I don’t know of, though I can’t think of any.) Then Safecoin by March, maybe? At this rate I think it’s better to think of major milestones breached after every month, rather than weeks. I remember some prediction by @whiteoutmashups ending up a bit later than March. So at the start of Spring (at the latest?), there should be real things starting in terms of Internet growth.For basic SAFE applications like Safecoin/storage, my hope is that enough people make use of it before there’s a massive growth of the new Internet. The Internet might take another year or so to grow, considering people have to develop new serverless programming languages for it, etc.
