To clarify, as it’s an important starting point: A wholly absurd and baseless hypothesis can be published in a peer-reviewed journal, have citations and be made by scientist of renown. It can be absolutely baseless and product of pure fantasy and this can still happen. This is a step in the scientific method but doesn’t mean the hypothesis should be given any credibility. It just means it will be debunked at some point in the process.
The important part here is that while the method this step is part of is proper science, the publication itself may or may not be “science” in itself. For the hypothesis to be properly considered scientifically sound, much more needs to be done. Before that it’s just something someone wrote.
Having citations is also not an indicator of properly following the scientific method (and we also saw above the scientific method in part exists to separate proper science from chaff, which this is).
The point of citations is using established science as building blocks for new science. The citations listed don’t support the statements. It’s like saying flapping your arms really quick makes you fly and including citations about air density fluctuations, hummingbird muscle chemistry and gravity effects under water. The concepts of the citations are related to the madness of the statement, but don’t prove anything about it nor support it.
A hypothesis is the start of science, and it prefers sound science as its building blocks, but until that hypothesis becomes a proper theory it is still not science.
(all of this ignoring the publication above is just an editorial and doesn’t even amount to a hypothesis, as most of its foundational statements require huge leaps of faith taking unexisting, unproven or debunked science and several of its calculations are mathematically impossible in the real world.

Por aqui estamos mas jodidos que lo que indican las noticias,si fuera invierno ya estariamos confinados,la mayoria de casos entre 16 y 29 años,se creen inmunes y que esta movida no va con ellos.
En algunas zonas los bares se cierra a las 22.30 y no se puede entrar a la barra,el ocio nocturno lo estan limitando,esperemos que esto no se desmadre (mas).
Hasta las elecciones todo estaba “controlado” pero justo despues ,obligacion de mascarilla y aparecer casos por todos lados.
Al hilo de los rastreadores por covid19 en Madrid, Ayuso por lo menos integra 1 capellan x cada 100 personas por el covid19…rezar es mucho mas efectivo

Ayer casi 300.000 contagios diarios y 7000 fallecidos, pronto llegaremos a 400.000 contagios diarios y 10.000 fallecidos diarios.
Estamos al comienzo de la pandemia, queda 7800 millones de personas x contagiarse aún.
Rastreadores para evitar el virus muy pocos q son caros pero en misas se gastan lo que haga falta.

en barajas de 77 positivos que han pasado, solo detectaron 4. Vamos bien.
